What you will be doing
As a Cloud Security Engineer at Satispay you’ll be joining the team responsible for building a best-in-class security program from the ground up. Team focus is on providing real value to the organization by emphasizing real world security and embracing automation. We’re looking for engineers who are excited to apply their expertise and knowledge to our mission of simplifying all types of payments and money transactions while staying secure. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Improve and maintain cloud security solutions for monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and incident detection and response;
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to provide secure solutions that drive business goals;
- Continuously monitor cloud infrastructure and respond to security incidents;
- Follow DevSecOps methodologies by automating security as much as possible and shifting security left;
- Play an active role in maintaining compliant cloud infrastructures and policies;
- Continually review and recommend improvements to operational processes and procedures.

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join our security team that will tackle building security into our cloud services from design through implementation and maintenance. You should be passionate about security, open source, sharing and excited about solving challenging problems.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Experience with one or more cloud service providers, preferably AWS;
- Deep understanding of cloud service architecture with emphasis on security in the cloud;
- Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring cloud infrastructure, integrating different cloud providers and identifying security threats and misconfigurations;
- Experience responding to security incidents in a timely and efficient manner;
- Experience assessing and consolidating security posture of *aaS cloud infrastructures;
- Solid understanding of modern information security methodologies and standards;
- Ability to break down complex problems into manageable and understandable tasks.
Plus:
- Cloud/Security certifications;
- Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and other DevOps tooling experience.
